Climate Ledger Africa is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of the organisation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient administrative systems, coordination of activities, and smooth communication within the organisation and with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage office operations and administrative systems
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events (including board meetings)
- Maintain organisational records, files, and documentation
- Support financial administration (invoicing, tracking expenses, basic bookkeeping)
- Handle correspondence, emails, and internal communications
- Assist in procurement and logistics for projects
- Support HR functions, including onboarding and staff coordination
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and programme teams
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
- At least 2–3 years of administrative experience (NGO experience is an advantage)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- High level of professionalism and integrity
