Climate Ledger Africa is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of the organisation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient administrative systems, coordination of activities, and smooth communication within the organisation and with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage office operations and administrative systems
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events (including board meetings)
  • Maintain organisational records, files, and documentation
  • Support financial administration (invoicing, tracking expenses, basic bookkeeping)
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and internal communications
  • Assist in procurement and logistics for projects
  • Support HR functions, including onboarding and staff coordination
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and programme teams

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
  • At least 2–3 years of administrative experience (NGO experience is an advantage)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
